Product Overview
For people who need additional support with personal hygiene, or for whom toilet paper alone is impractical, the ability to wash and dry without reliance on a carer makes a significant difference to independence and dignity. The 30502 is a mains-fed, side-entry electronic bidet seat with an ergonomic seat and lid, designed to fit most UK toilet pans without requiring specialist sanitaryware. The side-entry water feed means it can be removed and refitted to a different pan if required — useful in rental, care, or temporary adaptation settings.
The 1750W instantaneous element heater delivers a continuous warm water wash without any reheating delay between uses, with six temperature levels (approximately 31–39°C) and five adjustable spray positions for both rear wash and feminine wash functions. The 350W warm air dryer operates at temperatures between 40–52°C across five speed settings, running for up to 3 minutes per cycle. All functions are controlled via the supplied ergonomic handheld remote, or directly via the three side-mounted buttons on the unit itself — useful for carers operating alongside the user.
The self-cleaning nozzle runs automatically before and after every wash cycle, and triggers an automatic water purge if the unit has not been used for 72 hours. The integral seat sensor prevents any function activating unless the seat is occupied. Seat lugs on both sides provide discreet stability for side transfer from a wheelchair or commode, and the soft-close seat and lid, combined with front moulded grips and contrasting coloured lifting tabs, make daily use manageable for those with limited hand strength or dexterity. A built-in night light — operable in always-on or smart ambient mode — helps users with visual impairment or dementia locate the toilet safely in low light conditions. The unit is rated IPX4 and carries a maximum load rating of 150kg (23.5st).
Benefits
Instantaneous 1750W Element Heater — Continuous Warm Water with No Waiting: Because the water is heated by an element at the point of use rather than drawn from a stored tank, there is no reheating period between washes. This matters in care environments where the bidet may be used by more than one person in sequence, or where back-to-back use throughout the day is expected. Water temperature is adjustable across six levels (approx. 31–39°C), with a choice of constant temperature or gradual cooling mode.
Side-Entry Water Feed — Fits Most UK Pans and Can Be Relocated: The external side-entry water connection means the 30502 can be installed on the majority of UK close-coupled toilet pans without requiring replacement sanitaryware. It also means the bidet can be removed and refitted to a different pan if the user moves or the bathroom is reconfigured.
Comprehensive Accessibility Features Built In as Standard — Not Add-Ons: Seat lugs for side transfer stability, a night light with smart ambient detection, an integral seat sensor, soft-close seat and lid, contrasting seat lifting tabs, and a handheld remote that supports carer-assisted operation are all included as standard.

FAQs
Will this bidet fit my existing toilet? The 30502 uses an ergonomic seat designed for compatibility with most UK toilet pans. The fixing plate adjusts to suit varying pan sizes, with a width tolerance of +/- 20mm (160mm fixing centres) and a length adjustment range of +/- 31mm. The unit requires a pan back section of at least 369mm wide and 172mm in depth to accommodate the bidet body. If you are fitting to an AKW Livenza Plus, Navlin, or Navlin Doc M pan, the Consilio seat variant (30501) offers a flush, flush-fit aesthetic designed specifically for those pans.
What are the installation requirements? The bidet must be permanently hard-wired to a mains electrical supply — it cannot be plugged into a socket. It connects to the mains cold water supply only, via the included tee junction, filter and isolating valve. Installation must be completed by a competent plumber and electrician. The unit requires a minimum dynamic water pressure of 0.5 bar in standard mode, or 0.2 bar in low pressure mode (switchable via the remote during installation). After fitting, check all water connections for leaks before switching on.
How do I maintain the bidet and keep the nozzle hygienic? The nozzle self-cleans automatically before and after every wash cycle, and runs an automatic water purge if the unit is unused for 72 hours. For manual nozzle cleaning, press and hold the Stop button on the remote, then press Decrease once — the nozzle will extend and remain accessible for up to 5 minutes before retracting automatically. The seat and lid can both be quick-released from the unit without tools for thorough cleaning. Clean the bidet body with domestic bathroom cleaning products and a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive pads, metal cleaners, or strong acidic or alkaline products, as these may damage or discolour the unit.
Warranty
The 30502 carries a standard 2-year warranty against manufacturing and material defects, conditional on correct installation in line with the supplied instructions. The warranty period starts from the date of installation, and the product must be registered within 30 days of installation to activate cover. The warranty does not cover accidental damage, incorrect installation, inappropriate cleaning, unauthorised modifications, or general wear and tear.
