AKW Onyx 2 Straight Grab Rail 600mm - Chrome / White

The Onyx straight grab rail provides a stylish yet functional support solution for users requiring extra stability in showering or toilet areas. Its unique ergonomic triangular profile ensures a superior grip compared to standard round rails, making it an ideal choice for modern accessible bathrooms.

Manufactured from durable aluminium alloy with a polished chrome finish, it features a 3.8cm wall clearance to accommodate various hand sizes comfortably. The rail is supplied with matt-finish cool white ABS bracket covers as standard, which can be easily swapped for nine alternative finishes (not supplied) to match specific bathroom decors.

For added versatility, an optional non-handed shower handset holder can be fitted to the brackets, providing a lower resting position for seated users. This combination of ergonomic safety and customisable aesthetics, backed by a lifetime warranty, makes it a preferred choice for residential and commercial adaptations.

Can the appearance be customised after installation? Yes, the Onyx 2 range features interchangeable ABS plastic covers that slide on and off, allowing you to update the look with nine different finishes available to order separately.

Is this grab rail suitable for heavy-duty use? Absolutely. The rail is constructed from high-strength aluminium alloy and is tested to support a maximum weight capacity of 150kg (23.5st), provided it is fixed to a suitable wall surface.

How do concealed fixings benefit the user? Beyond the minimalist design, the covers protect the internal 4-point fixings from water, dust, and dirt. This prevents the build-up of grime and protects the internal components, making the rail much easier to maintain.
