What type of wall is required for installation?
Due to the high weight capacity, this seat should ideally be fixed to a solid masonry wall. If installing on a stud partition, appropriate timber noggin reinforcement must be present behind the wall surface to secure the mounting plate.

Overpriced for poor quality
"I don't normally give reviews but felt this needs one to warn others. We chose this expensive seat because it looks stylish and does not have the usual typical appearance of disabled equipment. for £240 we expected it to be excellent quality. The first issue we had was that stainless steel fixings are not supplied with the item. This leaves the customer having to decide what fixings are suitable for safety and could result in the wrong fixings being used. potentially this could cause an accident. The second is that when extending the leg, the pins did not line up with the holes properly. Also one of the pins did not spring out to lock in position, even when I did force it to line up by bending to metal. The problem was caused by the holes in the aluminum on both parts being incorrectly drilled. I had to take the leg apart and redrill the holes. Getting the leg back together was a nightmare. The black foot component end of the leg doesn't fit the profile of the metal properly. I had to file a chamfer on the plastic foot component so that I could eventually tap it in with a hammer. Then finally, no paper template for drilling the wall. come on, what is that about. I am a skilled tradesman. the average householder will struggle with this. For all the reasons above I would not buy this product again and would not advise anyone who is not practical with DIY to buy this."
