AKW Option X Half Height Shower Screen Silverdale - Frosted

A corner shower enclosure for use with shower trays, in a Silverdale® finish combining a fixed side panel with bi-folding doors. Designed to give carers clear sightlines and easy access while still offering the user privacy and splash protection during showering.

Available in 750mm and 900mm heights, the screen is handed (left or right) and pairs with a curtain rail and weighted curtain supplied as standard, making it a practical choice for assisted bathing in smaller or adapted bathrooms.

Rising butt two-way hinges allow the bi-fold doors to swing 360° both in and out, while the fixed panel and hinge caps are built from robust aluminium and hardwearing nylon 6 for long-term durability.

Frosted door panels ensure privacy, For use with shower trays (For wet floors see Option XW).

How to Choose the Correct Screen

1. Pick Your Handedness:

Left-handed vs Right-handed applies to rectangular trays (e.g. 1200×700mm), where one panel is longer than the other. You determine whether you need a left-handed or right-handed screen based on which side the longer door panel is located, when standing at the opening door entry corner:

• Left-handed - the longer door panel is on your left as you face the shower
• Right-handed - the longer door panel is on your right as you face the shower
