AKW Option Y Half Height Shower Screen Silverdale - Frosted

A corner shower enclosure in Silverdale® finish, combining a fixed side panel with bi-parting doors, giving carers easy access and clear sightlines while providing the user with privacy and splash protection during showering.

Available in a 900mm height, the screen is handed (left or right) and is suitable for use with shower trays.

An L-shaped curtain rail and standard 1800mm wide x 2000mm drop shower curtain are supplied as standard, with a latch included as standard fitting — additional handles are available as optional extras.

Rising butt two-way hinges allow the bi-parting doors to swing 360° both in and out, while the frame is built from robust aluminium with hardwearing nylon 6 hinges and caps for long-term durability.

Frosted door panels ensure privacy.

How to Choose the Correct Screen

1. Pick Your Handedness:

Left-handed vs Right-handed applies to rectangular trays (e.g. 1200×700mm), where one panel is longer than the other. You determine whether you need a left-handed or right-handed screen based on which side the longer door panel is located, when standing at the opening door entry corner:

• Left-handed - the longer door panel is on your left as you face the shower
• Right-handed - the longer door panel is on your right as you face the shower
