AKW SmartCare Plus Shower with Chrome Care Kit

Designed to make showering easier and less stressful for people living with visual impairment or dementia, this electric shower combines clear, tactile controls with a range of care features.

Push-button controls are grouped closely together and have contrasting, raised symbols. LED indicators and audible beeps confirm every temperature and flow adjustment, and the shower remembers the last user setting.

A care accessory kit with chrome finish is included, addressing a range of clinical needs. The shower is BEAB Care certified, RNIB tried and tested, and DSDC dementia-friendly accredited.

Its retro-fit footprint covers most manufacturers’ models, so replacing an existing shower usually means no re-tiling.

It can also connect to the AKW DigiPump and P12 shower waste pump. It is available in three power ratings (8.5kW, 9.5kW and 10.5kW) and comes with a 5-year warranty as standard when registered within 30 days of installation.
