A square-profile grab rail with an aluminium reinforced core, developed in partnership with the RNIB for use in domestic and care environments. Unlike standard round grab rails, the square cross-section gives users a firmer, more secure grip and prevents the rail from rotating in the bracket.

The unique co-polymer extrusion around the rail corners adds a soft, tactile quality to the grip surface, improving comfort and slip resistance in wet conditions.

Colour contrast inserts run the length of the rail, developed with the RNIB to help partially sighted users locate the rail quickly in the bathroom environment.

The square profile addresses two practical problems with conventional grab rails: rotation under load and reduced grip in wet hands. The co-polymer corner treatment adds tactile differentiation without compromising the rail's rigidity.

Four-point wall fixing with flared brackets is standard — this spreads fixing stress and reduces the risk of pull-out under dynamic load.

The modular kit system allows corner configurations and multi-rail setups to be assembled from standard components, which is useful for meeting OT specifications that require rails at specific angles or positions that wouldn't be achievable with a single straight rail.
