Whale Sense

A Bluetooth-enabled flood reduction and water saving device for wet rooms and bathrooms.

The Whale Sense provides automatic water shut-off via solenoid control, activated by either a PIR sensor or retractive switch, and can also transmit flow sensor signals wirelessly to a compatible Whale Instant Match transformer — eliminating the need for hard-wired connections between the flow sensor and pump in installations where cable routing is not practical.

Suitable for both standalone use and in combination with the Whale Instant Match pump system, it is particularly well suited to shared bathrooms and care environments where flood prevention is a priority.

Note: Solenoids, PIR sensor and retractive switch are not included and must be sourced separately. For safety compliance, Whale Sense must be used with a TMV2 or TMV3 thermostatic mixer valve when solenoids are installed.

• Suitable for use on the bathroom lighting circuit
• Wiring must conform to BS7671:2018 (18th Edition); all components must remain accessible for maintenance
