Providing everything needed to create a fully waterproofed substrate before tiling in showers, wet rooms, and balconies.

Based on Mapelastic Aquadefense — a ready-to-use, single-component liquid membrane — the kit delivers a 100% watertight seal that is strong, durable, and dries fast enough to tile after just four hours, making it well suited to time-sensitive installations.

Compatible with all AKW shower formers, the membrane can also be reinforced with Mapetex SEL fabric (sold separately) where an anti-fracture layer is required, such as over movement-prone substrates.
