Product Overview

A two-part, 50mm water seal trapped gully with a round chrome stainless steel top, designed for use with AKW and Contour wet floor formers including ShowerDec®, Tuff Form8, and Tuff Form. The round chrome cover suits vinyl and sheet-flooring wet room installations where a traditional circular waste fitting is preferred. The two-part construction allows the top section to be removed for cleaning without disturbing the installation below.

High flow rate for level-access shower areas. Maximum flow rate exceeds 40 litres per minute, handling high-output shower heads without pooling — particularly important in level-access and wet room installations used by people with limited mobility.

Round chrome top for a clean, classic finish. The round stainless steel chrome cover provides a neat, unobtrusive appearance suited to vinyl and flexible sheet flooring where a square tile-effect top is not required.

Two-part design for straightforward maintenance. The gully separates into two parts, allowing the top to be lifted clear for routine cleaning without tools or disturbing the floor former below.

FAQs

Can this waste be used with a pumped drainage system?

No. The TSG52 is a gravity waste and requires a fall to the drain. Where gravity drainage is not achievable, a pumped waste such as the USG1-WH is required instead.

Is there a square top version available?

Yes. A square chrome stainless steel top version is available under product code 08GT52-S, suited to tiled wet room floors. A McAlpine standard two-piece version is also available as 08GT52NSC. All share the same TSG52 gully body.

What floor depth is needed to fit this waste?

The waste is 100 mm in depth. Confirm that your floor former specification allows for at least this depth of void beneath the waste outlet before ordering.
